iLove was a project developed for MEGA, aimed at exploring a new digital reality show format where the audience actively participated through a mobile app by voting, interacting and following contestants in real time.
The challenge was to design a social experience that brought together elements of social networking, messaging, voting and audiovisual content, while keeping the interface simple, attractive and accessible for a broad audience aligned with the language of television entertainment.
The design focused on building a dynamic and highly visual social experience capable of supporting different types of interaction without creating friction in navigation.
The solution included:
A clear and consistent visual system, designed from scratch and adaptable to multiple screens and flows.
Interfaces focused on quick content consumption, prioritising images, video and primary actions.
Strategic use of colour to reinforce states, actions and system feedback such as voting, messages and captures.
Reusable components to ensure consistency across sections such as Home, Profile, Messaging and Voting.
Interaction design created to encourage participation and engagement, including likes, votes, messages and live streams.
This project allowed me to explore the design of a non-traditional social platform, combining entertainment, voting and communication in a single experience.
The outcome was a solid prototype that demonstrates:
The ability to design complex apps end-to-end from UI
Strong command of visual systems applied to digital products
Experience working in UX/UI partnerships
A design approach focused on interaction, engagement and clarity of use
iLove stands as a relevant product design exercise aimed at media, mass audiences and experimental social interaction formats.
