Mega needed to review and improve the experience of its news website in a context of heavy content consumption, multi-device access and intensive reading.
The objective was not to redesign from a purely visual angle, but to evaluate the existing experience, identify real friction points and propose grounded improvements for a large-scale editorial product.

The project was developed as a collaborative UX research consultancy.
A comparative heuristic evaluation of the main news websites in the market was carried out, identifying patterns, strengths and opportunities for improvement in navigation, information hierarchy and content reading.
Based on this analysis, the team delivered:
Structured and prioritised findings.
Experience recommendations based on usability criteria.
Functional sketches that materialised the proposed improvements, focused on clarity, scanability and news consumption.
The work was well received by the channel and served as a conceptual and functional basis for the product’s evolution.
Later, Mega launched a new site for its news platform, Meganoticias, incorporating many of the decisions, criteria and solutions proposed during the consultancy.
The project reinforced a research-driven design approach, demonstrating the value of UX as a strategic tool in high-traffic editorial products.
